Sizes generally run true to size, meaning if you are a certain size in comparable brands, you are likely to be the same size in our brand. Keep in mind that our silhouettes are made to be on the smaller side. Be sure to read the product description for any specific sizing details.

Expert sizing tips:

- Many of our styles are adjustable with tie closures, so if you prefer more coverage, you can always order a larger size and tie it tighter!

- Consider the activities you'll be doing in the suit. You'll probably want a more snug fit for a higher level of activity.

- Less coverage can be more flattering!

The short answer is NO. We refuse to be one of the many brands who claim their swimwear is "sustainable," because the reality is, it's not...

Since our founding, we are proud to have partnered with Aquafil in Italy to create swimwear made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon from pre- and post-consumer plastic waste, along with using REPREVE® and other natural and eco-conscious fabrics in our swimwear. This process reduces plastic pollution and alleviates climate impacts compared to traditional oil-based nylon production.

However, the process still uses fossil-based additives, and the dyeing process, like with traditional nylon, often involves toxic substances harmful to humans and the environment. Although the nylon regeneration process is in theory a closed-loop system, which means the material can be recycled infinitely, unfortunately most garments made with ECONYL®, REPREVE®, and other recycled nylons ultimately end up in landfills.

While using recycled and sustainable materials is a great start, we take it further by considering the entire lifecycle of our products—how they’re made, where the energy to create them comes from, who is making them, and whether the organizations involved are locally- or foreign-owned. We work exclusively with reputable small, locally-owned factories with whom we have a personal relationship with to ensure conscious production at every stage.
